1. REGLEMENTS
Total amount to be paid at the time of the reservation. The extra booking fees correspond to the Tree-house special cancellation guarantees (2€ for each tree house regardless the length of your stay). After receiving your payment which shall be made within 10 days after booking, we will send you a voucher with all the information concerning your stay.
Caution: Your reservation can be cancelled if we do not receive your payment within 10 days (option deadline).
2. MEANS OF PAYMENT
– Bank transfer
– Cheque to the SARL « Sur un arbre perché »
(French cheque only)
– Credit card : Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa.
– Holiday Vouchers : ANCV
Caution : please note that the booking reference shall be mentioned with the payment.
3. ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY
The number of people per accommodation which is mentioned in our brochures/website correspond to the maximum allowed capacity in accordance with the provided equipment. The number of occupants must not exceed this maximum capacity for security and insurance concerns.
4. TREEHOUSE INSURANCE
Because of the specificity of this kind of accommodation, a specific additional guarantee is included in the price of the tree-houses. This guarantee is applicable for the clauses below :
4/1 – Alteration or cancellation of your stay by yourself BEFORE your arrival:
In case of serious illness, serious accident or death and on presentation of a medical certificate or death certificate, the specific guarantee will enable the total refund of your payment.
For any stay cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, for reasons not included in the clauses of the specific guarantee as mentioned above, the equivalent of 30% of the total amount of your stay will be retained. Between 30 and 8 days before arrival, 60% of the total amount will be retained. For any stay cancelled within 7 days before arrival, for any stay interrupted for any reason or in ase of no-show, the total amount of your stay will be retained or will be owed to the SARL « Sur un arbre perché ».
4/2 – Alteration or cancellation of your stay by the SARL Sur un arbre perché BEFORE your arrival:
In case of planned external occurrence beyond our control such as bad weather conditions, gale or thunderstorm, the direction reserves the right to cancel your stay for reasons of security. In such a case, your stay in a tree-house can be postponed within 12 months. We can offer you a gift voucher valid one year. If none of these proposals are suitable to you, the total refund of your payment would be possible. No further compensation could be claimed
4/3 – Alteration or cancellation of your stay by yourself ON SITE:
If you refuse to climb to your tree-house (fear, vertigo…), another accommodation can be proposed to you with no extra charge (according to availabilities). No further compensation could be claimed. If no spare solution can be found, the total refund of your payment will be proposed to you. In any case, the additional special guarantee will not be refunded.
4/4 – Alteration or cancellation of your stay by the SARL Sur un arbre perché ON SITE
In case of last-minute external occurrence beyond our control such as bad weather conditions, gale or thunderstorm, the direction reserves the right to cancel your stay for reasons of security. In such a case, your stay in a tree-house can be postponed within 12 months. We can offer you a gift voucher valid one year. If none of these proposals are suitable to you, the total refund of your payment would be possible. No further compensation could be claimed.
5. TARIFFS
The prices in our brochure are likely to be modified according to the economical conditions or statutory regulations. these prices all include vat, except for the tourist tax (1.8 € per adulte per nigth to pay on arrival). The only price that has to be taken into consideration is the one mentioned on your voucher or any other letter of confirmation.
6. GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are send after receiving your payment.
It is valid for two year after the day we send it.
Alteration or cancellation conditions are the same as the article number 4.
7. CHILDREN
The age of the children is calculated according to their birthday and the arrival date. An official document could be asked for on arrival. An responsible adult is mandatory in each tree house.
The Squirrel Tree House can accommodate children over 2.
The Zen Tree House can accommodate children over 6.
The Pirate Tree House can accommodate children over 2.
The Enigma Tree House can accommodate children over 6..
8. PARTICULAR CONDITIONS
The couple tree houses (even if they are safe) are not allowed for pregnant women, people scared of heights, sleepwalkers and sufferets from heart troubles or eye deficiency.
9. ANIMALS
Pets are allowed in the tree houses, but you will be charged with extra fees.
10. VALUABLES
It is recommended not to leave any valuables in your accommodation.
11. PARKING
The company ”Sur un arbre perché” offers free parking outside the park. This is an open, unsupervised parking.
Parked vehicles must be completely emptied of valuables, luggage and other objects likely to attract unwanted attention.
The company expressly declines all responsibility for damage caused to vehicles and theft in cars.
12. COMPLAINTS
All complaints concerning your stay should be sent by registered post within the 30 days following your visit to :

13. LEGAL ACTION
In case of legal action, the tribunal of SAINTES is the sole authority acknowledged in these matters.
14. YOUR STAY
To enjoy your stay : it is compulsory to bring a charged mobile phone and a towel.
48 hours before your arrival, we ask you to tell us your time of arrival (by mail or phone). We can receive you between 3pm and 6pm (4pm and 7pm il july and aougust).
During your stay, we ask you to respect all safety instructions that will be explained by our staff.
In your treehouse, you have at your disposal composting toilets. a sanitary block is available in the park. An electric heater will be provided during the winter period. The tree-houses shall be left before 11.00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
A golden Book is available in every treehouse for you to write your remarks and opinions. The final formalities are to be done at reception. You will be kindly asked to fill in a questionnaire regarding quality which will help us to upgrade the facilities.
